And then there was Tastee-Freeze! He loved nurturing the young and took great pride as a Scout Master as many of the young men made it to Eagle Scout. He loved to tell his old stories about growing up in Hagerman and living on the Caprock Ranch his years at the New Mexico Military Institute, graduating the last year it was a four-year college serving the United States in the Army bookkeeping and managing several businesses. While Alzheimer’s took his mind it never took his spirit, sense of humor, smile or his orneriness!
